Job Description
T47 International is currently hiring a skilled Electrician to support operations at a secure facility in Charlottesville, VA. This position requires an active Secret Clearance and experience working with electrical systems in commercial or industrial environments.
Location: Charlottesville, VA
Schedule: Full-Time, M-F
Clearance: Secret Required, Top Secret Preferred
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Ensure all work complies with NEC codes and safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections
- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
- Work independently and as part of a team in a secure environment
Requirements
- ✅ Active Secret Clearance (required), Top Secret Preferred
- Proven experience as an electrician (commercial/industrial preferred)
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices
- Ability to pass background checks and work in a secure facility
- Valid electrician license (preferred, based on state requirements)
