An established and growing property management company is seeking a dependable, motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Sioux City, IA area. This full-time position will provide maintenance support for two apartment communities and offers flexible scheduling options Monday through Friday. Participation in an on-call rotation is required.
We are looking for a team member with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will possess general maintenance knowledge and experience in apartment or residential maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Experience in general maintenance, plumbing, electrical, and property repairs
- HVAC certification preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Valid driver's license required
- Must provide personal hand tools
Responsibilities Include:
- Daily grounds inspections and cleanup
- Routine property maintenance and repairs
- Plumbing and electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Apartment unit turns and make-ready preparation
- Preventative maintenance tasks
- Responding to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Participation in the company on-call rotation schedule
