Mullen's Dairy Bar is seeking out team members to assist in maintaining our unique legacy through the end of summer and beyond! In this role, you'll serve exceptional local food, learn how to craft classic sodas, malts, and sundaes, and ensure every guest leaves with a smile. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
- Prepare and serve classic sodas, milkshakes, and other specialty drinks with precision and flair- it's an art form!
- Process cash transactions efficiently while managing sales through POS systems and handling cash with accuracy.
- Upsell menu items like specialty drinks or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Take pride in the space by maintaining cleanliness of the serving area, soda fountain, and dining room.
- Provide a great experience to our guests by responding promptly to customer inquiries and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is valued, but not necessary. If you're willing to learn, we are more than happy to train you!
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling is essential for maintaining high standards.
- A care for maintaining attention to detail is valued.
- Experience in keeping a friendly attitude that fosters guest loyalty.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
