Zoox is hiring operators in Las Vegas to support its self-driving robotaxi operations.
This is a real-time, screen-based role where you monitor robotaxis, track live systems, and step in through internal tools when a vehicle needs human support.
Think mission control meets driving simulator meets tech ops.
You’ll be watching multiple screens, reading alerts, making calm decisions under pressure, and following safety protocols exactly. This is not a “button-mashing” role. Accuracy matters.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor self-driving robotaxis in real time
- Watch live maps, alerts, systems, and vehicle activity
- Step in through internal tools when a robotaxi needs support
- Make quick, calm decisions without panicking
- Follow safety steps exactly -- no shortcuts
- Document incidents clearly
- Communicate with the team during live operations
- Help improve the systems behind self-driving robotaxis

Schedule Reality Check
This role is full-time and fully on-site in Las Vegas.
Training is 8 weeks, Monday–Friday, either:
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or,
- 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
After training, Zoox assigns your shift. You must be open to early morning, daytime, evening, or overnight shifts.
Possible shifts include:
- 1:30 AM – 10:00 AM
- 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- 5:30 PM – 2:00 AM
If late nights, early mornings, or weird hours are a dealbreaker, this is not the right role.
Requirements
- 2+ years of tech support, QA, software testing, operations, dispatch, monitoring, gaming/simulation, or similar experience
- Strong computer skills
- Comfortable with Windows and/or Linux
- Active Nevada driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Able to pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR
- Able to work full-time on-site in Las Vegas
Assessments
Candidates complete short assessments for:
- Typing speed
- Reaction time
- Decision-making under pressure
- Following instructions accurately
