About Issio
Issio Solutions is a SaaS company with a workforce scheduling platform for healthcare. We are a small team that works across functions. We move fast, adopt new technology early, and expect you to research, decide, and ship without waiting for direction.
Before you apply
We want a client success specialist who has previously carried a sales quota: 2+ years recent CS or implementation work, with BDR or quota-carrying sales experience before that. If your background is only client success, or only sales, this is not the right fit.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This is a small company. No one will manage you day to day, you will not manage anyone, and the work is hands on. This is not a coding role, but daily comfort with technology and AI tools is required.
The role moves between two modes depending on what the business needs. When a client is in active implementation, that is your full focus and successful onboarding is what you are measured on. When implementation slows down, you cover help desk windows for existing clients and use your sales background on real outreach work — lead generation, cold outbound, and discovery for net-new opportunities. This is not a quota, but it is real sales activity, and you should be comfortable doing it. As the pipeline grows and more clients come online, your time shifts back toward implementation. Additional bonuses are available for opportunities you help close (terms to be defined case by case).
- Implementation: Lead onboarding for new healthcare clients from kickoff through go-live, including platform walkthroughs, configuration handoff to engineering, and end-user training delivery.
- Training: Run remote and on-site training for clinical and operational staff (charge nurses, schedulers, supervisors) using Zoom, and the Issio platform.
- Documentation: Write customer-facing documentation, training materials, and internal SOPs in Notion or similar so each client implementation makes the next one faster.
- Client health and support: Own ongoing relationships, cover scheduled help desk windows, surface customer feedback, and triage support tickets and escalations with the Issio engineering team.
- Outreach during downtime: During slower implementation periods, run real lead generation, cold outbound, and discovery calls for net-new commercial opportunities. Not a quota, but hands-on sales work.
- Tool familiarity: Notion or Confluence, HubSpot or Salesforce, Zendesk or Intercom. Issio does not lock in named tools. What matters is comfort across the category.
Backgrounds we look for
Strong fits have come from non-obvious places. If your background looks like one of these, tell us how it translates.
- Client success or implementation lead at a SaaS company who carried a sales quota earlier in your career and moved into CS for the long-term relationship work
- Hospital, ASC, or health system operations staff who have implemented vendor software on the customer side and have prior commercial or business development experience
- Military or federal healthcare background with both training delivery and outreach, recruiting, or sales experience
Nice to haves
- Veteran status — encouraged to apply!
- Healthcare SaaS, hospital, or ASC customer experience
- Federal customer experience (VA, Military Health System, Department of War, or other federal agencies)
- RFI or RFQ drafting.
- AI-native workflow: Apply AI tools (Claude, Perplexity, or similar) to draft communications, summarize calls, and accelerate documentation across every part of your day.Disclaimers
