Job Summary:
Yolkville Cafe is looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic Host/Hostess to be the first smile our guests see. The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting customers, managing wait lists, answering phones, seating guests, and helping create a welcoming dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
- Manage waiting lists and coordinate seating efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and assist guests with questions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and lobby area.
- Assist servers and bussers as needed.
- Help maintain a positive and professional atmosphere.
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Weekend availability preferred.
- Previous restaurant experience is a plus, but not required.
