A Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in supporting the clinical team by ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This position is key in fostering positive relationships with patients and maintaining a professional, and organized environment. The RN will work closely with other healthcare professionals and collaborate with athletic programs to provide comprehensive, well-rounded patient care. By promoting effective communication, teamwork, and customer relations, this role helps enhance the overall patient experience and contributes to the smooth functions of the clinic.

Education: Registered Nursing degree. Orthopedic experience/knowledge is preferred. Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program.
Language Ability: Ability to effectively communicate with patients, providers, and insurance representatives.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to utilize advanced knowledge of imaging processes, techniques, procedures, and anatomy to direct activities and develop policies and procedures.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills and operational knowledge are required.
Certificates and Licenses: Currently Registered Nursing license in Missouri, or eligible for licensure. Current Missouri Athletic Trainer Licensure or eligible for licensure prior to employment. Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainer. Current CPR/ AED Certification prior to employment.
Personal Skills: Ability to adapt to changing pace, stressful situations, and frequent interruptions. Positive attitude and professional appearance is required.
