We are looking to expand our farmers’ market team! We are looking for a market attendant for extra coverage at the western suburbs markets we attend. We are looking for someone with weekend availability and flexibilty to work different markets throughout the westner suburbs including Lisle, Elmhurst, or Wheaton depending on what requires coverage that week. Could be a great fit for a student or freelancer looking for extra work.
Market Days:
-We will meet you at the market with your supplies
-Greet farmers’ market goers, sample and sell cheese, check customers.
-Fill in your market report with any notes.
-Pack up your stand at the end of the market.
Schedule:
-We are specifically looking for someone to work a market on Saturday mornings in the western suburbs including the Lisle French market, Elmhurst French market, Wheaton French market.
-Possible additional hours available
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in sales a plus.
- Interest and/or experience in sustainable farming, local food, organic farming, and artisan food.
- Timely and reliable
- High standards for sanitation and food safety are a must.
- Farmers market managers, our fellow vendors, and customers are our local food community. It is important that we the North Sky Farm team treat them with respect, kindness, and reliability. The farmers’ market is the epicenter of local food and so we want to do our part in co-creating local food magic.

We’re also introducing this season Cheese Curds! We've got cheddar, garlic dill, and elote (smoked chili lime garlic) made with all organic ingredients on the menu, and will have new surprise flavor drops all year long.
