Summary
The Marketing Manager is a hands-on B2B marketing leader responsible for revenue-focused marketing strategy and execution. Reporting to the VP, Sales & Marketing, this role partners with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Support to generate qualified demand, strengthen DTS brand positioning, and improve customer engagement.
This working manager role leads two direct reports and manages external marketing partners while staying actively involved in campaigns, content, HubSpot, website performance, events, reporting, and continuous optimization. The ideal candidate is analytical, technically savvy, and experienced in marketing complex B2B products to technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:
B2B Marketing Strategy & Demand Generation
- Develop and execute annual B2B marketing plans aligned with growth, revenue, and pipeline goals.
- Lead integrated campaigns across digital, content, email, social media, PR, events, and product marketing.
- Partner with Sales to improve lead quality, conversion, sales enablement, and pipeline contribution.
- Translate technical products and customer needs into clear, differentiated messaging.
Analytics, KPIs & Marketing Technology
- Own marketing KPIs, dashboards, and reporting for campaign performance, lead generation, conversion, website engagement, and ROI.
- Use HubSpot to manage marketing automation, segmentation, lead nurturing, workflows, reporting, and campaign optimization.
- Analyze performance data, identify gaps and opportunities, and adjust strategy, messaging, channels, budget, and execution priorities.
- Evaluate marketing technologies, AI tools, and automation opportunities that improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Content, Product Marketing & Events
- Oversee customer-focused content including collateral, technical content, case studies, presentations, web copy, videos, and customer communications.
- Support product launches and go-to-market activities with coordinated campaigns and sales enablement materials.
- Conduct market and competitive research to support positioning, growth initiatives, and customer engagement.
- Plan and execute trade shows, conferences, webinars, customer events, budgets, logistics, promotion, and post-event analysis.
Leadership & Vendor Management
- Lead, coach, and develop two direct reports through clear goals, priorities, accountability, and feedback.
- Manage external agencies, contractors, and service providers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned to strategy.
- Build practical workflows, operating rhythms, and reporting practices that improve team focus and execution.
Requirements:
The qualifications and skills listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities for the job.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including leadership of marketing initiatives and personnel.
- Experience with demand generation, revenue marketing, digital marketing, content marketing, and KPI-based performance management.
- Strong hands-on HubSpot experience, including automation, campaign management, lead nurturing, workflows, reporting, and analytics.
- Ability to use data and analytics to improve marketing performance and business outcomes.
- Experience managing direct reports and external vendors or agencies.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, project management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Estimated Salary Range:
The estimated salary range listed below allows for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as room for growth achieved within the role over time. Offers extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.
$120k - $165k annualized
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Equipment Use
This position works in an environment in which safety, environmental and health concerns may demand constant attention. The work environment is a production and engineering area and typical business office. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
Occasional US and/or international travel to customer, vendor, corporate, and/or other sites may be necessary based on business or customer needs.
