Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a vital role supporting high school students as an Educational Diagnostician for the upcoming school year. This contract opportunity begins August 4th and runs through May 21st, offering either full-time or part-time flexibility. You’ll work with a caseload of approximately 92 students, ages 9th grade through 18+, playing an essential part in their educational journey.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as an Educational Diagnostician is required.
- Experience working with high school populations.
- Proficiency with the Frontline platform for managing IEPs and ARDs.
- Previous experience managing transition plans, graduation requirements, and supplemental documentation for special education services.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct 40–50 initial evaluations and reevaluations, maintaining compliance with established timelines.
- Serve as ARD manager for all assigned students, preparing and updating ARD paperwork in Frontline, including transition and graduation planning.
- Support and facilitate annual and review ARD meetings, ensuring each student's educational plan meets district and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with high school educators, families, and support staff to deliver comprehensive, individualized service.
- Maintain thorough, organized records for a caseload of approximately 92 students.
- Ensure all documentation reflects current needs, supplements, and goals outlined in the IEP or ARD.
