What is movi?
We’re a software platform that is changing the way organizations handle non- emergency medical transportation (NEMT) for the better. Have you heard of those things called "landlines" and "faxes"? The NEMT industry still uses phone and fax as the main communication channel. 1995 called and wants their tech back, amirite?!
We started our journey in 2017 and have been organically expanding throughout the US. Our platform has been validated as an ecosystem with value add to ALL participants in the business process. This translates into expanding our current offerings while also creating new ones.
The current positions we are looking to fill asap are:
- Software Engineers, 2+ years of experience

Desired Experience:
- Node.js
- Typescript
- Angular
- MongoDB (or other NoSQL)
- Relational database
- Data marts, Data warehouse, Data lake
- BI/Analytics
- RESTful API design and development
- TDD, Unit tetsing, E2E testing, Load testing, any and all testing
- Storybook
- SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, any aaS basically
- AWS, GCP, Azure, Docker, Linux, CI/CD
- AI assisted software development (less vibe, better code)
- Google Vertex AI, AWS SageMaker, Azure AI Studio
- Excellent problem solving, creative thinking and self-motivation skills
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people
- Associates or B.S Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent required…or you didn’t waste money on school but have a lot of real-world experience.

- Previous healthcare and HIPAA experience
- You like database queries…even Mongo aggregates :)
- Experience/exposure to: Route Optimization/Transportation, Medical system integration, Insurance/Medical billing, FHIR and/or SMART on FHIR, or HL7

- After that, you’re off to the races
Responsibilities
- Collaborate to design, develop, and deliver scalable features and services.
- Write clean, maintainable code and tests.
- Communicate progress, identify risks, and collaborate with the team to meet project milestones.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $127,000.00 per year
