Job Title: Golf Course Maintenance Crew Member
Overview:
We’re looking for a hardworking, dependable individual to join our Golf Course Maintenance team. This role is critical to keeping the course in great condition and providing a quality experience for our members. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a team, and working with your hands, this could be a great opportunity to gain experience in turf management.
Anyone with a turf management background is strongly encouraged to apply, though this is also a great opportunity for someone interested in entering the field. We will be completing a full golf course renovation beginning in 2027. Pay range is based on experience in golf course maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily course preparation including mowing greens, tees, fairways, and roughs.
- Operate a variety of equipment including riding mowers, push mowers, weedeaters, blowers, and utility vehicles.
- Rake and maintain bunkers, and help with course setup by changing cups and moving tee markers.
- Assist with landscape tasks around the clubhouse, practice areas, and cart paths.
- Clean and care for tools, equipment, and workspaces.
- Follow direction and work with the team to complete projects safely and efficiently.
- The right candidate will have opportunities to take on more advanced responsibilities, including applying pesticides and fertilizers, hand watering, running large equipment and leading small crews on various projects.
Qualifications:
- Experience with landscaping or grounds maintenance is a plus, but not required — we’re happy to train the right person.
- Able to safely operate or learn to operate weedeaters, mowers, and other power tools.
- Must be on time, dependable, and able to work early mornings, some weekends, and holidays.
- Physically fit enough to lift 50 lbs, walk long distances, and stay active for the duration of a shift.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain.
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
