What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
- Drive Daily Operations: Partner with the Cafe Manager to run a seamless, high-vibe shift, ensuring the shop looks flawless and runs like clockwork.
- Curate the Guest Experience: Lead by example on the floor, delivering warm, world-class service that makes our guests feel like VIPs.
- Master the Craft: Prepare and serve our specialty coffee, beverages, and gourmet food with absolute precision and premium presentation.
- Curate the atmosphere: Maintain the pristine cleanliness and visual organization of the entire cafe—from the dining floor to the kitchen and storage.
- Own the Quality: Assist with regular quality checks to guarantee our baked goods and products maintain their elite taste, texture, and freshness.
- Manage the Details: Help coordinate staff schedules, keep accurate documentation, manage inventory, and implement smart strategies for waste reduction.
- Think Like an Entrepreneur: Collaborate on monitoring sales, tracking expenses, and finding creative, cost-saving ways to optimize our profitability.
What You’ll Bring (Requirements):
- The Bilingual Edge: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish to effortlessly connect with our diverse community and team.
- Hospitality Track Record: Solid experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within an upscale cafe, premium bakery, or high-end food service environment.
- Industry Know-How: A strong understanding of cafe/bakery operations, food safety regulations, and premium quality standards.
- Natural Leadership: Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to keep your poise and lead a team during peak rush hours.
- Tech & Design Savvy: Comfortable with basic computer systems for inventory and record-keeping. Knowledge of Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite is a massive plus!
