Responsibilities
- Monitor beach areas continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents or injuries
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as needed
- Assist guests with lake access, directions, and general inquiries to enhance their experience
- Perform routine beach cleaning duties.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold safety protocols and maintain equipment functionality
- Complete shift reports detailing incidents, safety checks, and maintenance activities
Requirements
- Valid lifeguard certification with current CPR and first aid training from a recognized organization
- Demonstrated swimming ability with comfort in deep water environments
- Prior lifeguard experience preferred but not required; training provided for qualified candidates.
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions during peak seasons
