We are in need of dynamic and very “hands-on”, energetic Janitor/Maintenance professional.
Our company, located in Bensalem, PA is rather small (about 25 team members) but growing and your work impact will be highly noticeable, affecting our operations and team on a daily basis. The goal of this position is to keep our building and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition.
Responsibilities:
Clean and supply designated building areas (sweeping/washing/sanitizing production floors, cleaning/washing/sanitizing the production equipment, ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
Excited to advance individually and as a team in a fast-growing small company.
Likes a “Family” environment.
Ability to stand for 6-8 hours daily.
Ability to lift 1-40lb frequently throughout the day
In-depth knowledge of washing and sanitizing tasks in a food environment.
Can work the second shift.
Knowledge of Food safety and cold logistics supply chain.
Requirements:
Proven working experience as a Janitor
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
Integrity and ability to work independently
High school degree
