About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Roll Mill / Rolling Mill Set‑Up Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for the setup, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of rolling mills used in precision metal production. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and committed to quality work in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up, calibrate, and align roll mills according to production specs
- Operate roll mill machinery with accuracy and consistency
- Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues during production
- Perform routine maintenance using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Maintain quality control through inspections and documentation
- Support fabrication work, including welding, tooling setup, and parts fabrication
- Record setup steps, adjustments, and operational data for traceability
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with manufacturing equipment (CNC mills, lathes, stamping presses, press brakes, flexo presses)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings
- Skilled with calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools
- Understanding of machining, fabrication, tooling setup, and assembly processes
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment safely and effectively
- Prior manufacturing experience is required

- Weekly pay
- $50/week attendance bonus - Adds an average of $1.25/hr based on 40-hour work week; subject to change

Physical / Other Requirements
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Visual and Hearing: Must be able to see with corrective eye wear, must be able to hear clearly with assistance, wearing hearing protection. Ability to lift 0–50 lbs (and over 50 lbs) with assistance
- Push up to 300 lbs
- Stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive movements
- Work in a manufacturing environment with normal noise levels
- Meet attendance and safety standards
