Role and Responsibilities:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for generating sales, developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, and promoting our extensive selection of 14K gold and fine jewelry.
The ideal candidate is motivated, results-driven, and enjoys building long-term relationships with customers. This individual must be comfortable communicating with customers, identifying sales opportunities, following up with clients, and working toward achieving sales goals.
Duties Include:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential customers.
- Make outbound sales calls and follow up with prospective and existing customers.
- Present and promote our selection of 14K gold and fine jewelry.
- Assist customers with product selection based on their needs, preferences, and price points.
- Provide accurate information regarding products, pricing, availability, promotions, and ordering procedures.
- Follow up on customer inquiries, quotes, and previous orders to encourage repeat business and increase sales.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective and existing customers.
- Develop long-term customer relationships by providing exceptional service and ongoing support.
- Work toward achieving and exceeding established individual and company sales goals.
- Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, orders, and follow-up information.
- Stay informed about current inventory, new arrivals, product trends, pricing, and promotions.
- Communicate customer feedback, market trends, and sales opportunities to management.
- Assist with sales promotions, marketing initiatives, trade shows, and other company events as needed.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and work with the appropriate departments to provide timely and effective solutions.
- Perform administrative and other sales-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in jewelry, fine jewelry, luxury goods, fashion, or a related industry.
- Experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales is preferred.
- Proven ability to generate new business and build long-term customer relationships.
- Strong sales, prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management abilities.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable making outbound sales calls and following up with prospective customers.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple customer accounts and sales opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as basic business software.
- Ability to learn quickly and develop strong knowledge of 14K gold jewelry and the company's product offerings.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is REQUIRED. Candidates must be able to communicate fluently in both languages with customers, staff, and business partners.
- Applicants who are not fluent in both English and Spanish will not be considered for this position.
