JOB OVERVIEW
As a Facilities Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our distribution center running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for performing routine maintenance, ensuring building systems function properly, and maintaining a clean, safe and compliant work environment. This is ideal for candidates who have a solid background in general maintenance, are comfortable working in a warehouse setting and are familiar with safety protocols.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on warehouse infrastructure, including lighting, HVAC, plumbing and safety equipment.

Respond promptly to facility repair requests and work orders.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of facility and exterior areas (e.g. parking lots, docks, breakrooms).

Support warehouse operations by repairing racking, conveyors, machine tapers, carton erectors, dock doors, forklifts (if qualified), and other equipment as needed.

Assist in coordinating third-party vendors for specialized maintenance or repairs.

Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.

Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment when required (if certified)

Support emergency preparedness and safety procedures.

Support Warehouse Manager with operational needs.

Escort and oversee vendor visits and external technicians when necessary.
SKILL/EXPERIENCE/PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS
-
2+ years of facilities or maintenance experience in an industrial or warehouse environment.

Intermediate computer skills.

2+ years experience operating forklifts (current certification not required).

Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

General knowledge of automated conveyors

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lift 75 lbs and work on ladders or in elevated areas.

Proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Must be willing and able to work overtime during the company's busiest periods.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED required.
PRFERRED, NOT REQUIRED

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

Bilingual (English/Spanish)
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
-
Warehouse setting with exposure to noise, dust, temperature variations and heavy equipment.

May require standing, walking, bending and lifting throughout the shift.
