Eagle Concrete, a union commercial concrete contractor for more than 50 years, is looking for a Project Manager to join our established team in Batavia.
The ideal candidate will be organized and detail-oriented with a hands-on approach and desire to work in a fast paced, growth-oriented environment.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Obtain and negotiate vendor quotes
- Collect and distribute product submittal documents
- Participate in job start and job close process
- Administer change order process
- Coordinate progress billing effort with project accounting team
- Issue purchase orders and schedule delivery of materials
- Manage subcontractor coordination efforts
- Analyze project results upon completion and identify methods and strategies for future improvement
This position is in-office only (not remote or hybrid), Monday through Friday.
Applicants must be currently located in Illinois and familiar with Illinois construction practices.
Skills & Experience
- 3-Years of Concrete Industry experience required
- Proficiency with PC computers including Microsoft Excel and project management software
- Organizational skills, strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Most importantly, must be an enthusiastic, team oriented, self-starting and dependable professional with strong management skills and a can-do attitude
