About the Role:
Habitat for Humanity of Walton County's ReStore is looking for a passionate and driven Assistant Manager to help lead our unique retail operation in beautiful Santa Rosa Beach, FL. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in daily ReStore operations, including sales floor management and donor intake
- Supervise, train, and motivate a team of staff and volunteers to ensure a productive and positive work environment
- Oversee merchandise pricing, display, and rotation to maximize sales and store appearance
- Coordinate donation pickups, drop-offs, and inventory processing of new and gently used items
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained throughout the store
- Support loss prevention, cash handling, and POS system operations
- Assist with community outreach and donor relationship management to drive donations and revenue
Requirements:
- 2+ years of retail management or supervisory experience required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage volunteers and diverse teams
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with inventory management, merchandising, and pricing
- Ability to lift and move donated items up to 50 lbs regularly
- Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
- Passion for community service and alignment with Habitat for Humanity's mission
