Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team, dedicated to maintaining and installing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial environments. Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, adhering strictly to local electrical codes and NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) standards.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults quickly and efficiently.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely, including the installation of industrial electrical systems and low-voltage circuits.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical infrastructure, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations and safety procedures.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring projects, system upgrades, or repairs on construction sites or renovation projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of electrical work aligned with project specifications and schematics.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments with a solid understanding of industrial electrical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and schematics for accurate installation and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring, low-voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other automation components.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 compliance standards along with knowledge of local electrical codes is essential.
- Construction site experience including renovation projects or new builds is highly desirable.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, screwdrivers, pliers along with power tools like drills and saws for electrical installation tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting skills combined with the ability to diagnose complex electrical issues efficiently while following all safety protocols related to electrical safety procedures.
