Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Health and/or Life Insurance Agent to join our team. This role involves engaging with clients to understand their insurance needs, providing tailored coverage options, and building lasting relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused approach to help clients secure their financial future through comprehensive health and life insurance plans.
Duties
- Conduct outside sales activities to identify potential clients and expand the customer base
- Present and explain various insurance products, including health and life policies, to prospective clients
- Negotiate policy terms and coverage options to meet client needs while adhering to company guidelines
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation
- Utilize analysis skills to evaluate client needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions
- Engage in marketing efforts to promote insurance products through various channels, including telemarketing and community outreach
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining policy details, and assisting with claims or benefits administration
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other industry standards during all client interactions
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales preferred
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with multilingual or bilingual abilities considered a plus
- Familiarity with sales administration tools and CRM systems
- Experience in marketing strategies related to insurance products is advantageous
- Background in customer service roles within the insurance or financial services industry is desirable
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and benefits administration processes will be beneficial for compliance purposes
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $3,500.00 - $7,000.00 per month
