Local Medical Equipment provider has an immediate opening. This is a full-time position (40 hours a week). Employees are eligible for benefits and 401k based on the amount of hours worked. Job requirements/duties include:
- Ability to interact with patients and assist them with reordering their supplies
- Working knowledge of ICD-10 codes
- Experience verifying insurance eligibility
- Knowledge of insurances and coverage determination criteria
- Ability to interact with referral sources, doctors offices and hospitals in a positive manner
- Working knowledge of computers, knowledge of Brightree software a plus
- Ability to scan electronic health records
- Knowledge of CPAP/BiPAP supplies and processing these referrals for insurance reimbursement
- Ability to multitask
- Positive attitude and self starter
