SUMMARY
This position helps assist in the preparation, and portioning of meals for hospital patients, Meals on Wheels, caterings and staff in a timely manner.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following)

Follow daily production records for quantities needed.
- Utilize batch cooking procedures to insure a quality product.

Assembling cold plates, prepping salads, vegetables, cutting fruits and vegetables, and making desserts.

Follow daily prep and pull schedules as indicated on production records.

Document and record temperatures as required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Previous experience preferred but not required.

Serv safe certificate or willing to obtain it.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of temperature requirements.

Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.

Must be able to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Basic cooking skills.

Basic computer and software skills.
