Bob’s Jewel Shop is hiring a Full-Time Fine Jewelry Sales Consultant to join our team in Lumberton, North Carolina.
We are looking for an outgoing, professional and motivated individual who enjoys working with people, building customer relationships and achieving sales goals.
Jewelry experience is preferred, but not required. Candidates with experience in retail sales, luxury retail, customer service, fashion, bridal, hospitality or other relationship-based sales environments are encouraged to apply.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in the jewelry industry while working Monday through Friday with no weekend hours.

What You’ll Do
As a Fine Jewelry Sales Consultant, you will help customers celebrate some of life's most important moments—from engagements and weddings to anniversaries, birthdays and special occasions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Sell fine jewelry, diamond engagement rings, wedding bands, gifts and other merchandise
- Help customers select jewelry based on their needs, style and budget
- Build relationships with new and existing customers
- Confidently present merchandise and ask for the sale
- Develop product knowledge in diamonds, gemstones and fine jewelry
- Assist customers with custom jewelry and special orders
- Accurately take in jewelry repairs and explain the repair process
- Follow up with customers by phone, text or other approved communication
- Maintain accurate customer and client information
- Build wish lists and future sales opportunities
- Participate in store promotions, special events and client outreach
- Help maintain beautiful, clean and organized jewelry showcases
- Follow established store procedures and security standards
- Participate in sales meetings, role-play and ongoing training
- Work collaboratively with other team members to provide exceptional customer service
- Accept coaching and apply feedback to continuously improve performance
Sales & Performance Expectations
This is a sales-focused position, and candidates should be comfortable working toward measurable goals.

Previous jewelry sales experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Saturday: Closed
Sunday: Closed
This is a full-time, in-person position at our Lumberton, NC jewelry store.
