Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing exceptional service to enhance their café experience.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas to meet food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change using cash handling best practices.
- Assist in food handling and food preparation tasks to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards.
Requirements
- Previous barista or café experience is preferred but not required; a passion for coffee and customer service is essential.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Strong skills in sales, cashiering, and retail sales transactions are highly valued.
- Knowledge of non-alcoholic beverage preparation, drink service, and food safety protocols.
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
