Vista Physical Therapy is a part of the Physical Rehabilitation Network (PRN). We are a leading provider of outpatient orthopedic services across 16 states in the West and Central U.S. We are now recruiting for our July 2026 Orthopedic Clinical Residency cohort. Whether you're a new graduate or an experienced clinician looking to advance your orthopedic expertise, this residency offers the opportunity to grow professionally while practicing in one of our
34 clinics throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Through our partnership with the NAIOMT/Messiah University Orthopedic Clinical Residency Program (OCRP), residents receive structured mentorship, a strong clinical foundation, and a supportive professional development pathway. We are seeking full-time Physical Therapists who are passionate about orthopedic care and eager to thrive in an innovative, forward-thinking environment. As a resident, you will begin working full time in one of our clinics and start the residency cohort in July, balancing hands-on patient care with flexible, high-quality didactic training designed to advance your clinical skills and accelerate your career.
Orthopedic Residency Program Details:-
Cohort Date: July 2026

Length of Program: 12-24 Months

Costs: $0 - Program is fully funded by PRN

Coursework Setting: In-person mentorship hours, asynchronous online courses, scheduled in-person meetings
Compensation:-
Base Salary: $80,000 – $92,000 annually

Monthly incentive bonus: Up to $2,500/month (up to $32,500/year)

Student loan reimbursement: Up to $25,000

Sign-on bonus: Available at select clinics

Total compensation potential: $110,000+ annually based on experience and performance

About the Role
As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to patients, helping them regain mobility, manage pain, and improve their quality of life. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to delivering personalized and effective therapy programs.
Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.

Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities.

Implement and administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, flexibility, and function based on each individual patient’s need.

Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.

Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy techniques, technologies, and best practices, integrating them into clinical practice as appropriate.

Meet the needs of having patients execute Plan of Care and (but not limited) following up with patients if noncompliance occurs.

Be a team player to utilize nonclinical staff to support needs of the caseload.

Delegate and use a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) when applicable.

Participate in helping to drive a collaborative culture based on our service vision.

Adapt to change in patient schedules and daily patterns.

Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine therapy needs and establish treatment goals.
Skills & Qualifications
-
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
-
Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
-
CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations

Strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy (preferred)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes
