Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings. Duties
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements
- Perform MIG welding (SMAW) using AWS standards
- Cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other metal components utilizing plasma cutters, press brake machines, and hand tools
- Measure materials precisely with calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure accurate fabrication
- Operate rigging equipment, forklifts, and power tools safely during assembly and fabrication processes
- Interpret shop math and mechanical blueprint details for accurate fabrication of structural components
Qualifications
- Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes
- Proficiency in MIG welding and welding techniques according to AWS standards
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpret mechanical fabrication instructions
- Familiarity with plasma cutting, machining, and using hand tools or power tools
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes in a fabrication shop setting
- Ability to perform shop math accurately for measurements and calculations involved in fabrication tasks
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical schematics and schematics accurately
Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
