Position Overview:
Restorative Spine & Brain Center of Dallas is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing neurosurgical and spine practice. This position is open to both experienced neurosurgical PAs and highly motivated new graduates with a strong interest in spine and brain care. You will work closely with a board-certified neurosurgeon in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment focused on delivering exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient evaluations, including history and physical exams
- Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
- Perform procedures within scope of practice
- Document patient encounters in EMR (eClinicalWorks preferred)
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current or eligible Texas PA license
- NCCPA certification (or eligibility for new graduates)
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Strong interest in neurosurgery, with a primary focus on spine and exposure or interest in cranial neurosurgery.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical and surgical environment
Preferred (but not required):
- Prior experience in neurosurgery, orthopedics, or pain management
- Familiarity with EMR systems
