HIRING VETERINARIAN for New Spay/Neuter Clinic
Limestone County, AL
Nonprofit high-quality high-volume (HQHV) spay/neuter clinic is seeking a vet who is excited about making a significant impact in a fast-growing community drowning in homeless cats and dogs. Our goal is to find ways to remove barriers to spay/neuter. Clinic opening date is Sept. 15, 2026.
Requirements include:

Examine animals pre-operatively to determine their ability to withstand surgery.

Perform surgical sterilizations.

Examine animals post-operatively to ensure appropriate healing.

Supervise handling and recording of controlled substances by veterinary technicians.

Supervise post-operative recheck.

Experience with high-volume spay/neuter is a big plus.

Veterinary license with minimum two years experience
