The Glen Rock Jewish Center (grjc.org) is a thriving community of approximately 200
families nestled in a suburban town of Bergen County, NJ, 10 minutes from Teaneck.
The Glen Rock Jewish Center is dedicated to preserving Jewish values and providing
lifelong Jewish experiences for individuals and families living in Glen Rock and
neighboring communities.
The Glen Rock Jewish Center is seeking educators for the 2026-27 academic year:
Music Specialist for K-2 – select Sundays, 9:00 – 11:00AM.
Preference is for educators/leaders with a strong experience in Jewish educational settings.
The ideal music specialist will:
- Engage our young students in songs and musical games in a fun and enriching way.
- Create joyful Jewish experiences for our students through music.
- Prepare appropriate music experiences for our students according to the time of year, age level, and time allotted.
- Build confidence and participation by creating a welcoming environment where every student feels comfortable joining in.
- Possess strong knowledge of Jewish music.
- Model enthusiasm and ruach, inspiring students to see Judaism as vibrant, relevant, and joyful.
