Job Hours
Wednesday to Sundays 6AM to 2PM Prefer
Job Responsibilities
- We are looking for someone who is interested in high volume production.
- Prepares laminated pastries such as croissants, flat croissants, and other desserts, including icings and frostings, according to established recipes.
- Inspects product for quality during and after baking and adjusts processes as required.
- Bakes, mixes, and decorates components for seasonal menu items.
- Recording inventory of products and components.
- Cleans and maintains work areas, utensils, and equipment.
- Completes production and cleanings lists as required.
- Follows all allergen cleaning steps and regulations.
- Follows food safety regulations at all times.
Job Requirements
- Good attitude and receptive to feedback.
- Desire to grow as a baker and team member.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Fun to work with.
- Reliable transportation to work and different sister locations on the Eastside.
- Has an understanding of production and from scratch baking.
- Ability to work while standing for an 8-hour-12 hour shift.
- Current food handlers permit or ability to get one.
- Detail oriented and organized.
- Ability to move and work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to frequently lift 30 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Adaptable to a changing environment and able to take on new tasks as needed.
- Ability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.
Previous experience in a bakery is preferred, and while culinary school graduates are favored, it is not a requirement. We are enthusiastic about training the right candidate!
