Assistant Director of Operations

Vision: This Operations Director team is focused on execution and performance. They will be responsible for helping the business win by creating and maintaining high-level systems that run the business.
Leadership Expectations:

Approximately 32-34 hours on the floor supporting the shift leader and developing relationships with the team/coaching
-
Approximately 6-8 hours of office time as needed
-
Available to work Saturdays
-
Work 2 nights a week until 9 pm
-
Preferred working hours are between 8 am and 11 pm
-
Availability to assist with emergencies when necessary

Regularly develops healthy relationships with the team and leaders to build trust

Overall understanding of business operations

Business acumen and understanding to make appropriate decisions

Ability to collaborate on a team to accomplish goals

Deep understanding of the FOH operations, systems, and processes that make the business run
Responsibilities:

Drive-through process systems and shift performance

Spreadsheets for the change fund and register

Create systems that improve shift performance and the guest experience

Maintain systems that are key to shift performance and the guest experience

Utilize the manager checklist to improve shift operations and tasks

Opening and closing processes

Drive-thru process and systems

Front counter cleanliness

Create alignment and clarity with customer success teams on systems that drive the customer experience

Create alignment and clarity with the Talent team to ensure team members are being trained to deliver a great customer experience

Maintain budget areas assigned to the Ops team

Hold shift leaders and team members accountable for all policy standards, such as timeliness, grooming, cell phones, and uniforms.

Provide both formal and informal feedback to the team and leaders on an ongoing basis

Ensure we are executing proper procedures in order taking, hospitality behaviors, speed, and accuracy, and provide ongoing feedback to leaders

Protect the customer experience by ensuring packaging, food presentation, and quality meet or exceed Chick-fil-A standards

Ensure the Manager's operating checklist is completed daily
