Office Manager / Customer Service Representative

Parakeet Pros is a locally owned HVAC, plumbing, and electrical company serving homeowners and businesses across Baton Rouge, Zachary, Denham Springs, Central, Baker, and surrounding areas. We’re looking for a reliable, people-oriented Office Manager to be the friendly voice and organizational backbone of our growing team.
What You’ll Do
- Answer inbound phone calls promptly and professionally (primary Customer Service Representative role)
- Schedule service jobs in our CRM
- Create and send quotes and invoices through the CRM
- Respond to emails and customer inquiries in a timely, clear, and helpful manner
- Coordinate with field technicians and keep schedules accurate and up to date
- Provide excellent customer service that reflects our values of honesty, integrity, and professionalism
- Handle general office administrative tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills — you enjoy talking to people and making them feel taken care of
- Comfortable answering emails and communicating clearly in writing
- Ability to learn and efficiently use a CRM system for scheduling, quoting, and invoicing
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced service environment
- Previous experience in a service-based industry (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, home services, or similar) is a strong plus
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Prior experience in a similar office/CSR/dispatcher role for a trades or service company
