Position Summary:
The Scheduler / Expeditor position is a critical role within the Technical Services group to ensure Customs Solutions project scheduling and component availability is maintained while Custom Solutions projects are being executed. This position’s primary focus is to work with engineers, technical services, and fulfillment to maintain on-time delivery of quotes, outsourced products, and services, provide detailed schedules and expedite details for the shop to ensure customer project expectations are met. Key deliverable will be to ensure projects are on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and Maintain Sales Orders and Production orders with correct dates
- Work directly with the Assembly Solutions Production Manager to monitor project timelines and routings can be accomplished
- Communicate with order owners on schedule updates and key date changes.
- Find alternative component sources and provide alternative production scheduling solutions to ensure project success to be on time and under budget.
- Partner with local Field Engineering and Project Management team on Assembly Solutions quotes to provide accurate production estimated lead times to meet customer expectations.
- Coordinate and integrate work packages and schedules, , expedited orders, crating, 3rd party services, etc.
- Meeting and developing relationships with key assembly solutions vendors
- Create and maintain an environment that promotes teamwork, energy, and efficiency.
- Display leadership through inter-departmental coordination to meet schedules, and budgets.
- Demonstrate courage to do the right thing and deliver difficult news with the intent to overcome it.
- Engage and motivate others through effective communication of the company mission, vision, and values.
Position Requirements:
- Three years’ experience in scheduling, project coordination, customer service, or operations support.
- Experience interacting, communicating, and negotiating with vendors preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams.
- Knowledge of broad range of fluid system components, especially Swagelok Brand Products.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field preferred.
