Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals has a client who is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Receivables / Payroll Clerk to support their finance and HR operations.
This hybrid role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing payroll, and processing both accounts payable and receivable functions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite, and capable of training existing AP staff on system use.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process and administer company payroll accurately and on time.
- Perform light human resources duties, including payroll-related benefits administration.
- Utilize double-entry bookkeeping to ensure integrity of financial records.
- Prepare financial reports and analyze data for management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with applicable governmental accounting standards and company policies.
- Provide training to existing AP department on QuickBooks processes and best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment issues.
- Provide support with technical accounting issues when necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, payroll regulations, and HR practices.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
- Accurate 10-key typing and strong data entry skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience training team members is highly desirable.
