Job Summary: The Assistant Accountant will perform a variety of accounting tasks with a focus on accounts payable and merchant processing.
Principle Responsibilities:
- Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.
- Oversees the full-cycle accounts payable process, including vendor payments, invoice management, discrepancy resolution, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
- Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
- Responsible for monitoring, disputing, and resolving chargebacks to recover revenue and minimize financial losses.
- Supports internal and external financial audits by providing accurate records, documentation, reconciliations, and timely resolution of any audit inquiries.

Work Experience:
- 1-2 year’s experience in accounting/finance or commensurate combination of education and experience.
Training and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or commensurate experience.
