Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting mostly weld pie and installing piping systems 90 % shop work as well as various construction settings. This role requires proficiency in fitting techniques, familiarity with industry codes and standards, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. The Pipefitter will be required to perform and document receiving inspections, VT inspections and documentation, will work closely with one or two (from time to time) welders to ensure that all installations meet safety and quality standards.
Candidate will have the ability to look forward and keep welder busy while they are also performing their duties.
Duties
- Receiving Inspections and documentation
- Perform Welded Pipefitting as well as Screw Pipe
- Perform Vessel Fitting
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Utilize power tools and equipment for pipe threading, soldering, and tube bending as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards throughout the welding process.
- Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure quality and integrity.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to coordinate tasks and maintain workflow.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Must Pass Drug Screening/ Back Ground Check
- Must have Driver's License, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter. Recent employment history.
- Must be proficient is keeping welder busy
- Must Have experience with Nickel, Hastelloy, Inconel, Alloy 20, Monel and 2205
- Familiarity with construction site practices, safety regulations, and industry codes/standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
