Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Facilities Technician for a project in Palo Alto, CA.
- PAY: $35/HR
- HOURS: 50hrs/week (10PM-8AM Mon - Fri)

Responsibilities
- Perform routine building maintenance tasks, including non-technical troubleshooting and repair of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry issues.
- Conduct site-wide maintenance, including painting, patching walls, replacing ceiling/flooring tiles, and carpet.
- Inspect and repair assigned interior and exterior areas, including walls, floors, installed fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting.
- Support janitorial and hospitality staff with general tasks, including moving furniture, racks/equipment, disposing of garbage, and setting up or tearing down special event areas.
- Manage campus-wide operations and maintenance programs as assigned by facilities management.
- Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts when needed.
- Open, track, and resolve electronic work tickets using the organization’s work order system.
- Adhere to proper safety guidelines at all times.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of facilities maintenance experience.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in construction, project management, equipment maintenance, and tenant improvements.
- Experience with plumbing systems, backflows, lift stations, sewer machines, and pumps.
- Experience with concrete work, forming, and pouring.
- Knowledge of engineering and construction principles, methods, and codes.
- Experience with industrial compressed air systems and maintenance.
- Carpentry maintenance experience, including drywall/sheetrock repair, window replacement, cabinet/countertop replacement, painting/texturing, and door/hardware installation.
- Ability to read instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with project management software, MS Excel, Word, or other project tracking software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; familiarity with MS Outlook and Teams.
- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
- Self-motivated, works well both independently and as part of a team.
- Safety training and experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, cranes & hoists, and fall protection equipment.
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work all shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Valid Texas driver’s license.
