Position Details
STAFF ASSISTANT II, UTampa Online
Adult and Summer Academic Program and UTampa Online has a position for Staff Assistant II to assist with all administrative support duties. This position will report to the Director of Distance Learning.
RESPONSIBILITIES

General UTampa Online Support
-
Reporting for various tasks – for UTO related online development and enrollment information
-
Work with the Office of Public Affairs and Communication for website updates.

Work with campus partners on annual catalog updates/additions/edits.

Other duties as assigned.

Manage some budget items such as UTO expense, travel, registration, technology subscriptions, etc.

Annual Budget planning – coordinate with UTO director.
UTampa Online (UTO):
-
Manage and track course development for UTO. This involves managing and updating an Excel spreadsheet.

Create course development progress reports using data collated from a spreadsheet.

Facilitate UTampa Online cohort meetings and UTO annual luncheon. This involves coordinating with other units in the University.

Responsible for stipend payments to faculty for online course development

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education: Bachelor's degree required
2. Experience: At least two years in a higher educational setting preferred
3. Technical Skills:
a. Two (2) years skilled administrative and/or office management
b. Proficiency with MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud tools, and any database management tool
c. Knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn The University of Tampa software programs such as Workday and other relevant applications.
d. Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative organizational practices.
4. Communication:
a. Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and communication skills and the ability to establish priorities and manage time wisely.
b. Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
5. Project Management:
a. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

WORK SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Summer: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.
