Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest activity and entry points
- Apply chemical agents safely and effectively using proper pesticide application techniques in accordance with safety protocols
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, ladders, and farm machinery to access hard-to-reach areas for treatment or inspection purposes
- Implement integrated pest management strategies to control pests while minimizing environmental impact
- Maintain detailed records of chemical usage, treatment locations, and pest activity reports for each service visit
- Operate company vehicles responsibly to ensure timely arrival at job sites and adherence to driving safety regulations
- Educate customers on pest prevention methods and recommend ongoing maintenance plans to ensure long-term pest control solutions
Requirements
- Proven experience with pest control methods, pesticide management, or related outdoor work such as lawn care, farming, or landscaping
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and ladder use for accessing treatment areas
- Knowledge of pesticide application procedures including chemical agent handling and respiratory protection measures
- Understanding of safety protocol adherence, including confined space entry safety procedures and ladder safety procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles required
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions for extended periods
