Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as needed and tracking usage to minimize waste
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment and respond promptly to any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators during catering, banquet, or nightclub events to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele effectively
- Ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math understanding, and order calculations
- Experience working in the food industry, including restaurant or retail settings, is preferred
- Knowledge of beverage brewing techniques and alcohol service regulations is a plus
