What You'll Do
As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a critical role in helping our team deliver efficient, high-quality care while ensuring patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their visit.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the doctor during restorative and general dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and patients for care
- Taking and processing digital dental radiographs
- Maintaining proper sterilization and infection control protocols
- Educating patients on treatment recommendations and oral health
- Managing instruments, supplies, and clinical inventory
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation
- Supporting a smooth and efficient clinical workflow
- Collaborating with teammates to create an exceptional patient experience
Who Will Thrive in This Role
The ideal candidate:
- Has at least 2 years of dental assisting experience
- Is proficient with Dentrix software
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented
- Takes initiative and can anticipate the doctor's needs
- Works well in a fast-paced environment
- Maintains a positive, team-first attitude
- Is committed to providing excellent patient care
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience
- Dentrix experience
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of OSHA and infection control protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
- Experience in a busy general dentistry practice
- Strong understanding of restorative dental procedures
- Digital radiography experience
