Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting our customers in quoting, order management and post-sale support. They will play a key role in building relationships with our customers and creating a first-class customer experience both internally and externally.
Essential Duties + Responsibilities
Provides a high degree of customer responsiveness and satisfaction. This position will interact with customers on a routine and significant basis.
Accurate Quoting:
- Gather information necessary to provide a complete quote for the customer.
- Convert customer furniture layouts to quotes.
- Ensure quoting accuracy by double checking prepared quote and asking for support from team if needed.
- Respond to quote requests within 2 business days.
- Verify quote details, including product codes, quantities, pricing and delivery instructions.

- Enter customer orders into the company’s order management system accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a maximum of 2 business days from receipt of customer order to entry completion.

- Coordinate with sales, purchasing and logistics to ensure the fulfillment of orders.
- Update relevant departments on changes or special requests related to orders.
- Foster a cooperative work environment by building strong relationships, sharing knowledge and actively participating in problem-solving.
Skills and Qualifications
Experience:
- Previous experience in order entry, customer service or administrative roles.
- Familiarity with ERP or order management systems is a plus
- Experience with CRM platforms
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
- Experience in customer success, account management, or sales support.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Team player with a customer-focused mindset

Work Environment
The work environment for this position is primarily in an office setting. As Plymold. is a manufacturer of furniture, the incumbent could also be exposed to dust, various temperatures, fumes and loud noise in the manufacturing setting. Due to periodic time spent on the manufacturing floor, the incumbent must be able to tolerate some exposure to these workplace characteristics. The incumbent must also follow company safety procedures, including wearing the required personal protective equipment while on the production floor.
