Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Painter to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate has experience with interior commercial painting, drywall repairs, surface preparation, and delivering professional finishes while maintaining a clean and safe job site.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by sanding, scraping, patching, caulking, and priming
- Paint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and other interior finishes
- Perform minor drywall repairs and texture touch-ups
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and airless sprayers
- Protect floors, fixtures, and surrounding areas before painting
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Qualifications
- Previous painting experience required
- Commercial painting experience preferred
- Experience with drywall repairs and patching is a plus
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Reliable transportation to job sites in the Houston area
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus, but not required
