Who We Are
We are the Accenture Google Business Group (AGBG) Mid-Market team—a specialized group of engineers, architects, and builders delivering tailored Google Cloud solutions for mid-market, high-growth, and fast-paced enterprises. We partner with dynamic organizations to connect them with the right combination of Accenture solutions and Google Cloud products to accelerate business transformation and solve real-world problems, quickly. We're expanding our team to meet the unique, rapid execution needs of the mid-market segment
The Domain
Infrastructure is the foundation everything else runs on — and getting it right determines whether a company can move fast or gets stuck. Cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud is about building secure, scalable, production-ready platforms that teams can deploy on with confidence. From landing zones and network architecture to hybrid connectivity and platform engineering, we design and deliver the foundations that make everything else possible — data platforms, applications, AI workloads, and security operations. Our high-growth, mid-market clients are actively migrating workloads, consolidating data centers, and building modern platforms from scratch. They need lean, agile leaders who understand infrastructure deeply enough to shape the delivery and drive it under pressure to rapidly unlock operational scale and value.
The Role
You're the person the client trusts to make it happen.
As a Technical Delivery Lead, you own delivery from initial solution shaping through go-live. You design the delivery approach for cloud infrastructure engagements, lead the platform build, and ensure the client has a production-grade foundation they can scale on. You're supported by a dedicated engineering team — you set the direction, they build alongside you. But you're the single point of accountability for what ships.
This role is for an execution-focused leader who takes full ownership of their work. You care deeply about the network design, the security posture, the IaC quality, and the operational readiness. You hold yourself to a higher standard than anyone else would. You'll work directly with client stakeholders — sitting in their world, understanding their fast-evolving resource constraints, and delivering outcomes that matter. You'll have the autonomy to shape how they build and operate their cloud platform on Google Cloud, from first conversation to go-live.
What You'll Do
Own the delivery. End-to-end. Scope, timeline, team structure, quality, outcome. You're the single point of accountability the client relies on.
Design how it gets delivered. Shape the delivery approach for infrastructure and platform engagements — define the migration waves, structure the team across workstreams (networking, compute, security, operations), set the delivery cadence, and sequence the work to ensure production readiness. Partner with solution engineers who own the technical architecture; you own how it gets built, validated, and handed over.
Provide technical advisory across the engagement — Guide our mid-market clients and teams on our offerings, technical implementation, and the underlying Google Cloud services, with a deep understanding of each client's existing environment and architecture.
Be the client's trusted delivery partner. You're the face of the engagement. Lead status reviews, manage expectations, navigate trade-offs in real time, and ensure the client always knows where things stand — especially during high-stakes migration and platform build programs.
Get solutions into clients' hands fast. Pick up where the deal ends and make it real. Stand up the delivery, mobilize the team, and drive execution from day one — delivering proven capabilities in weeks, not quarters.
Lead across borders. Coordinate onshore delivery leadership with offshore engineering teams. Set priorities, define workstreams, remove blockers, and keep the entire delivery machine moving at pace.
Drive quality and outcomes. Establish delivery governance, define checkpoints, validate operational readiness, and ensure every engagement delivers measurable client value — from landing zone deployment to workload migration completion.

Platform Engineering Blueprinting: Capability to construct automated "golden paths," developer self-service infrastructure portals, and technical platform operational guardrails.
Workload Migration Mechanics: Experience conducting infrastructure discovery assessments, executing Migrate to VMs, migrating legacy databases with DMS, and coordinating large-scale physical data center exits.
Operations & Observability Foundations: Operational implementation knowledge of Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) automated alerts, incident management frameworks, and proactive cost optimization controls.
What Sets You Apart
Google Cloud Certifications: Active Google Cloud Professional certifications, specifically Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Network Engineer, or Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
Large-Scale Migrations: Documented expertise managing complex data center exits, comprehensive workload wave planning, and technical risk assessments.
Security-by-Design Execution: Strong understanding of advanced IAM structures, core organization policies, data encryption keys, automated network segmentation, and foundational cloud compliance controls.
Cross-Functional Ecosystem Exposure: Secondary familiarity with adjacent Google domains to maximize mid-market customer account impact, including:
Cybersecurity Platforms: Implementing Google Security Operations (Chronicle), Agentic Defense structures, Security Command Center (SCC) alerts, or Wiz integrations.
Application Execution Layers: Direct alignment with GKE clusters, Apigee API gateways, and CI/CD pipelines supporting the software applications that run on your infrastructure.
Data & AI Stack Requirements: Core infrastructure optimizations for data platforms built on top of BigQuery and Vertex AI.
Workspace Automation: Gemini Enterprise for Workspace deployments and operational integrations.
Customer Experience Tools: Foundational infrastructure configurations supporting GECX and CCAI customer engagement rollouts.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 25% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
What You'll Need:
Minimum 7 years in hands-on, client-facing technology roles — you've built and delivered, not just managed.
Minimum 5 years architecting and delivering on Google Cloud Platform, with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, networking, migration, and platform engineering.
You've independently owned client engagements from technical design through go-live.
Deep hands-on proficiency with Terraform, VPC networking, GKE, compute services, and cloud operations — you can design a landing zone, write a Terraform module, and troubleshoot a networking issue.
Strong understanding of security-by-design — IAM, org policies, encryption, network segmentation, compliance controls.
Strong in both technical leadership and delivery management — architecture, scope, risk, stakeholders.
Experience with distributed global teams and modern engineering practices.
Clear communicator — whiteboarding with engineers or presenting to a C-suite.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor's in CS, Engineering, or related field — or 12 years equivalent experience.
Google Cloud Professional certifications (Cloud Architect, Cloud Network Engineer, Cloud Security Engineer)
Deep expertise in large-scale cloud migrations — data center exits, workload assessment, wave planning
Hands-on experience with platform engineering and developer self-service on GCP
Track record building production landing zones and multi-project cloud foundations
Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures (Anthos, Interconnect, partner networking)
