Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor, setting a positive tone for their visit
- Manage reservation systems and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Answer phone inquiries promptly, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and general questions
- Coordinate with the restaurant staff to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of guests throughout their dining experience
- Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area, ensuring guest comfort at all times
- Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns or special requests with professionalism and courtesy
- Support the team during busy periods by communicating effectively with servers and kitchen staff to optimize service flow
Experience
- Prior experience as a host or hostess in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating welcoming guest experiences
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction techniques
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in guest services roles
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude
- Experience in serving, guest relations, or related hospitality roles will support success in this position
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
