Hours
1st Shift | 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM, Monday through Friday
Pay
$18.00 Per Hour
Key Responsibilities
- Operate grinding and polishing equipment to smooth and finish metal parts
- Grind, sand, and smooth sharp edges and burrs according to specifications
- Use stroke sanders, belt sanders, orbital sanders, and pneumatic grinders
- Follow blueprints and work instructions closely to ensure quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ years experience operating grinders, including stroke sanders
- Ability to grind or sand edges and burrs efficiently
- Proficiency with various sanding tools and pneumatic grinders
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality
- Ability to work physically, including heavy lifting
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience drilling, tapping holes, or welding studs
- Familiarity with pre-coating and final finishing processes
Preferred Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience in manufacturing or metal finishing
Other Requirements
- Energetic and eager to learn new techniques
- Ability to work on-site during scheduled hours
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with safety and quality awareness
