Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, with experience across various medical settings including long-term care, assisted living, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, efficient nursing support to diverse patient populations, ensuring adherence to healthcare standards and fostering a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health histories to inform care plans.
- Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and other specialized treatments such as botulinum toxin therapy.
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations, specimen collection and processing, and medical imaging procedures as required.
- Provide wound care, catheterization, tube feeding, and ventilator management while maintaining strict aseptic techniques.
- Support patients with activities of daily living and coordinate discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions of care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management for complex cases involving dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or behavioral health needs.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols to safeguard patient confidentiality and safety.
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the respective state or jurisdiction.
- Prior experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospitals , nursing homes, hospice care, or outpatient clinics.
- Experience handling acute pain management, infectious disease care, geriatrics or emergency medicine is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to internal medicine, medical-surgical units, ICU settings, or specialty areas like cardiology or ophthalmology.
- Ability to perform phlebotomy, venipuncture, sterile processing procedures, and basic life support (BLS). Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
