Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled certified or registered Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and administrative support, with preferred experience in pediatrics. This role is essential in ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care and support throughout their healthcare journey.
Duties
- Adheres to and supports the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the practice.
- Adheres to the HIPAA Compliance Plan and the Privacy Standards Confidentiality Agreement.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and medical histories.
- Administer immunizations/injections as directed by physicians.
- Proficiency in relevant computer hardware and software, as well as EMR systems, and other standard medical office equipment.

- Provide basic life support when necessary and assist in emergency situations.
- Conducts comprehensive, preventative screenings for patients and/or assists all support staff in daily patient interactions as needed.
- Assists with diagnostic tests, treatments and referrals.
- Participates in daily care team huddle to perform pre-visit planning to identify lab work needed for chronic care services based on patient diagnosis and preventative care screenings are due.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
